Maria Horning led the Eastern University volleyball team to the York College Best Western Westgate Invitational championship. The Eagles, now 12-0 on the year, earned a tough three set win over Lebanon Valley College on Friday night and came from behind in the fifth set to beat the tournament hosts in the championship game. Horning accumulated 167 assists on the week to go with six aces, 47 digs, and eight blocks. This is the second Freedom Conference Player of the Week honor earned by an Eastern University Volleyball player.
