MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Jessie Masur (Stevens / Sr., P / Montclair, N.J.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Masur pitched a pair of complete game, one-hit shutouts on the week and lowered her season ERA to 1.00 in the process. In the first game against DelVal, Masur tossed five scoreless innings, allowing no runs on one hit while striking out seven. She then set a new career-high with 14 punchouts in a 3-0 win over FDU-Florham, again allowing just one hit over seven strong innings of work. Masur has now not allowed an earned run in 31 1/3 consecutive innings in the circle.
