MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Esther Seeland (Messiah / Jr. / State College, Pa.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Seeland shattered her own program record in the 1,500-meter run this weekend with a time of 4:27.39. Her time was nearly nine seconds faster than her previous program record while also breaking the MAC record of 4:31.40 that was set in 1985. Additionally, she also set the Starry Track record in the 800 meter this weekend with a time of 2:07.72. She currently has the fastest times in the country in both the 800 meter and 1500 meter.
