Brandon Daigle (King’s / Sr., G / Biddeford, Maine) made 72 saves to lead the Monarchs to a 1-1 weekend including the program's first-ever victory on home ice. In a tough 5-4 loss to 14th-ranked Wilkes on Friday the netminder made 41 saves including stopping 11 of 12 shots in the third period as the Monarchs rallied back from a three-goal deficit. He made 11 saves in the first and third periods and 19 in the second. In a 3-2 overtime victory on Saturday afternoon over Albertus Magnus the senior stopped 31 of the 33 shots he faced. He made 14 saves in the first period, 10 in the second, seven in the third, and then didn't face a single shot in 1:46 of overtime.
