MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Ryan Kennedy (York / Gr., D / Arnold, Md.) earns his third conference weekly award of the season. Kennedy led a defensive unit that allowed just 7.64 goals per game in a 2-0 week with wins over Hood and No. 15 Gettysburg. Kennedy had a caused turnover and a ground ball while York held Hood to two goals on Wednesday. On Saturday, the graduate defenseman led his team with three caused turnovers and recorded a career-best of 10 ground balls, including a ground ball that eventually led to the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter.
