High School Avon Grove MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week Nathan Gilbert (Eastern / So., D / West Grove, Pa.) was given the opportunity to step up into a starting role on defense this week. In two games, Gilbert forced 12 turnovers and secured nine ground balls to help the Eagles to wins over Albright and Hood. The sophomore recorded a career-high of eight caused turnovers in a 24-5 win at Hood.
