MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Megan Rizzi (York / Jr., OH / Eagleville, Pa.) recorded a trio of double-doubles. She began the week with 19 kills and 18 digs as she hit .279 in the match against Lebanon Valley. Rizzi then had a big match in the win over Haverford. She set a pair of career highs with 24 kills and 24 digs. The 24 kills rank second all-time on the single-game list, two back of current assistant coach Brandy Shope who had 26 kills in a match during her Spartan career. Rizzi hit .238 for the match. Rizzi closed out her week with 11 kills and 10 digs in the match against national power Johns Hopkins. For the week, Rizzi totaled 54 kills and 52 digs as she hit .212 in 141 attempts.
