MAC Freedom Women’s Player of the Week
Brianna Pizzano (Misericordia / Jr. / Exeter, Pa.) was 4-0, including 2-0 at both No. 1 singles and doubles in matches against SUNY Cortland and Albright. In a 6-3 win over Cortland, Pizzano won singles 6-0, 6-1 and doubles 8-2. Against Albright, the junior defeated reigning MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year 6-2, 6-0 in singles after winning doubles by a score of 8-5.
