MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Marc Kauffman (Alvernia / So., DB / Hamilton, N.J.) led Alvernia's defense to its first MAC win since October 2019 with a 19-16 win at Widener. Kauffman finished the afternoon with seven tackles (4 solo, 3 assisted) and two interceptions. The sophomore returned his interception in the second quarter 20 yards for a touchdown to give Alvernia the 13-0 lead. With Widener threatening on the goal line as time expired, Kauffman grabbed his second interception of the afternoon and took it back 27 yards to seal the win for the Golden Wolves.
