MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Jayden Rowe (York / So., G / Downingtown, Pa.) led the Spartans to the Mike Daley Memorial Tournament title this weekend at Nazareth. Rowe was named the tournament MVP after the Spartans defeated SUNY-Canton and the tournament host Nazareth to capture the title. In the season-opening win over Canton, Rowe poured in 22 points to go along with eight rebounds, and three assists. He was 9-for-16 from the floor including 1-for-4 from three while he was 3-for-3 from the line. In the championship game, Rowe tallied a career-high 31 points, four rebounds, four assists, a blocked shot and a steal in 32 minutes of work. Rowe was 11-for-20 from the floor, 7-for-13 from three and 2-for-3 from the line. For the week, Rowe averaged 26.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists as he shot 55.6% from the floor, 47.1% from three and 83.3% from the stripe.
