MAC Swimmer of the Week
Dan Jackson (Widener / So. / Warwick, N.Y.) would compete in two relays and three individuals. In all the races this weekend, Jackson would become a new Widener record holder. In the 200-yard individual medley he took the race in 1:54.88 breaking the record by almost a full second and taking first in the race. The second individual record came in the 100-yard breaststroke where he took down a 2020 record with a 57.12, also taking first in the event. The final came in the 200-yard breaststroke. Jackson would register a 2:05.78 and take first in the event as well. All three of his individual times were fast enough for the top time in conference standings. In addition to the individual record, Jackson was a part of the 200 (1:33.60) and 400 (3:25.6) yard medley relay which both took down records from the 2017 era of Widener swimming.
