MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Zach Reed (Lebanon Valley / Gr. / Manheim, Pa.) won the 60 hurdles and was the anchor on LVC's 4x400 relay team that won at the Diplomat Open on Friday. Reed ran the 29th fastest time in Division III in the 60 hurdles as he crossed the line first in 8.43 seconds. His time is ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic Region, 12th in AARTFC, and the fastest in the MAC this season. He was just 0.05 seconds off his career-best time of 8.38 seconds in the event. He then anchored the 4x400 meter relay team that won in 3:33.90. Their converted time of 3:30.55 for track size is second in the MAC and fifth in the region.
