MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Sam Rothstein (Lebanon Valley / So. / Mount Joy, Pa.) led from start to finish to take home gold in the mile at the River Hawk Invitational in a season-best time of 4:33.47. The sophomore got out to a quick start with a time of 32.64 seconds over the first 209 meters and kept the lead after each of the next seven laps. His time is ranked sixth in the conference this season and 23rd in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The win was his third of the season and second straight week
of winning the mile.
