MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Zach Reed (Lebanon Valley / Gr. / Manheim, Pa.) had a pair of season-best times at the Mini-Dip Invitational on Saturday that are among the fastest times in the MAC this season in the events. Reed ran the fastest 60-meter hurdle time in the conference this year in a blazing 8.40 seconds to finish second in the final. He ran the fastest time in prelims in 8.56 seconds. His time is also 14th in AARTFC and 17th in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Reed also qualified for the MAC Championships in the 200 meters with a career-best time of 23.24 seconds to finish second overall out of 45 sprinters. His time is sixth in the conference and 17th in the Mid-Atlantic Region. His 200 time is ninth on the program's top 10 list for the event.
