MAC Freedom Golfer of the Week
Gus Vickers (Stevens / Sr. / Naples, Fla.) finished first at the Garden State Collegiate Classic, wrapping up play 1-under for the tournament. After shooting an opening round 73, Vickers used the improved conditions Sunday to trim three strokes off his score to finish 2-under 70. He carded seven birdies and was the lone player in the field to finish under par.
