MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Aaron Weitzel (Lebanon Valley / Sr., F / Reinholds, Pa.) had six points on three goals with five shots to lead the Dutchmen to two blowout wins. The senior scored LVC's fourth goal in the 63rd minute of a 6-0 win over Elizabethtown to begin the week. Weitzel took two shots in the game scoring on his only shot on goal. LVC outshot the Blue Jays 31-5 and only allowed one shot on goal in the game. The forward then scored two goals including the game-winning goal in a big 6-1 victory over Alvernia on Saturday. Weitzel nearly scored in the first minute but his shot just went wide left of the net. He gave LVC a 2-0 lead in the 20th minute with a great finish off an assist from Lucas Strange. The senior responded to Alvernia's lone goal of the game with his second goal in the 79th minute to put the Dutchmen up 5-1.
