Belle Fields (York / Sr., GK / Centreville, Md.) played 140 minutes of scoreless field hockey in goal for the Spartans as they went 1-1. In the 1-0 win over #9 Cortland, Fields made five saves against the Red Dragons. Fields made a pair of saves in the final four minutes of the game after the Spartans took a 1-0 lead. The win was her 40th career victory as she is now one win short of tying the school record of 41. In the 1-0 shootout loss on Saturday, Fields was outstanding over the 80 minutes of play for York as she recorded eight saves in the run of play. The eight saves were tied for her second-highest total of the year. She is credited with her 24th career shutout as she continues to extend her own school record. For the season, Fields is 9-4 with seven shutouts. She owns a 0.59 goals-against average and a save percentage of .877.
