MAC Swimmer of the Week
Bryan Collins (York / Jr. / Hanover, Pa.) had a big weekend with three individual wins in the Spartans' meet against Washington College on Saturday. Collins not only won a trio of races, he set one new top times while he swam the second best time in the league in the other. Collins won the 50 free with a time of 21.10, just .14 seconds off his league best time of 20.96 that he set in the meet with Susquehanna. Collins touched the wall first in the 100 with a time of 47.10, which set a new best time of the season in the MAC. Collins finished off his freestyle trifecta with a time of 1:44.40 in the 200 freestyle. That time is the second-best time in the league so far this year, less than two seconds off the top mark. Collins now has nine individual wins in the Spartans' five meets for the year.
