Jason Rezac (Alvernia / Gr. / Bethlehem, Pa.) took first place at the Penn College Invitational on Saturday to lead Alvernia to a second place team finish. Rezac recorded two falls and two technical falls en route to his win at 157 lbs. Rezac started his day with a pin in 1:54 against Penn’s Anton Esterbrook. He then had a 15-0 technical fall against Thaddeus Stevens’ Garrett Landon and secured a spot in the finals with a pin in 1:07 of VTSU Castleton’s Dominick Lapier. Rezac secured first place with a 17-0 technical fall over VTSU Castleton’s Jacob Caricato.
