Senior goalkeeper Ali Bromson was named the Freedom Conference Tournament’s Most Valuable Player after combining to make nine stops and keep the top-two teams in the conference to just three goals in 200 minutes as the Valiants won their second Freedom Conference Tournament title in four seasons. Bromson was spectacular in Wednesday’s semifinal win at #2 Eastern, making seven saves in 110 minutes and then making a huge save during penalty kicks as the Valiants advanced to the title round. She then made a pair of big saves on Saturday in a 2-1 victory over FDU-Florham on the way to the championship.
