MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Gabby Nye (Widener / Gr. / Shippensburg, Pa.) would continue to add to her accolades after her weekend at the Big Apple Invitational in New York. Nye would race to a first overall finish and a new Widener record in the mile with a time of 4:58.98 to break the five-minute barrier. Nye would better her own record set last year on Feb. 16. Nye’s time moved her to 26 th in the
nation and first in the conference by nine seconds.
