MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Emily Novicki (King’s / Sr., P / Wapwallopen, Pa.) put on a performance during the King's College softball team's spring training trip. She returns north with a 0.86 ERA in four complete games and 24.1 innings of work, posting one shutout, giving up three earned runs, striking out 19, and issuing just five walks. She opened the week with a win over Mississippi University for Women, with six strikeouts, one unearned run, and four hits allowed before fanning eight in five innings in a 9-0 shutout over Immaculata. Novicki wrapped up the week with a strikeout in a 3-0 setback to TCNJ and four strikeouts with just one earned run in a 2-1 loss to NYU.
