MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Cory Bergmann (York / M, So. / Long Beach, Calif.) led the Spartans offense with 12 points and nine goals, including a pair of man-up goals, in two Commonwealth wins last week for the 15th-ranked Spartans. The sophomore midfielder tied a program-record with eight goals and compiled a career-best 10 total points in York's 20-13 triumph at No. 11 Stevenson last Wednesday. Bergmann helped fuel a nine-goal fourth quarter rally against the Mustangs by scoring three-straight tallies in the period. He then added a man-up and assisted on the eventual game-winning goal in York's win over Widener on Saturday.
