MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Bella Garabo (York / G, Gr. / Hillsdale, N.J.) helped lead the No. 8 Spartans to a pair of MAC Commonwealth wins last week while ranking among the team leaders in both ground balls and caused turnovers from her goalie position. Garabo put together one of her best performances of the season in the big win over Stevenson last Wednesday. She made 11 saves, including five in the third quarter, and caused a season-high tying three turnovers in the 15-7 victory. The All-American netminder now has five double-digit save performances this season and has held opponents to single digits 10 times this season.
