Freshman Traci Tempone flew to a meet record in the 5000 meter run at Saturday's Haverford Invitational. This was the first indoor meet of Tempone's collegiate career, and she was coming off an outstanding cross country season, which saw her help lead the Blue Jays to an 11th place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships. Tempone broke Laura Onderko's previous meet record of 18:09.25 by nearly 25 seconds with her 17:45.60. She led a 1-2-3 finish for the Blue Jays in the event.
