Ellex delivered a historic weekend at the Cougar Splash Invitational, winning five events—two individual and three relays—while setting school records in all five. She claimed the 50 free in 23.50, breaking the MAC record and achieving an NCAA “B” cut, and followed with a school-record 51.95 to win the 100 free. Ellex also contributed to winning and record-setting efforts in the 200 medley, 200 free, and 400 medley relays.
