In a huge week for Albright men's basketball senior Matt Ashcroft averaged a team-high 19 points per game. His week got off to a great start when he scored 21 points in the championship game of the DeSales University Casa Mia Holiday Tournament. For his standout performance he was named the tournament's MVP. In the closest game so far this season, Ashcroft recorded his first double-double of the season to help the Lions to a 63-62 conference win over Messiah. His double-double consisted of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Combined Ashcroft shot 50% (12-24), behind the arc he shot 57% (8-14), and at the line he shot 86% (6-7) in the 2-0 week for the red and white. His week also consisted of 19 rebounds (9.5 rpg), four assists and one steal in 65 minuts of playing time.
