Kyle Hammonds enjoyed the finest week of his young career as the Monarch freshman stepped up his level of play following the loss of two starting players for the rest of the season. In a 99-53 route of Albany Pharmacy, Hammonds had two career-highs with 25 points and fibe three-pointers. In a 76-66 Freedom Conference road win over an FDU-Florham team which swept King's last season, Hammonds promptly bettered the aforementioned career-highs with 30 points and six three-pointers. For the week he averaged 27.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 53.6 (15-28) percent from the field, 61.1 (11-18) percent from three-point range, and 82.3 (14-17) percent from the foul line.
