In their first meet of 2011, senior Justin Gewirtz shattered the indoor high jump record at Albright, which had stood for a total of 17 seasons. The original record of 6-05.00 was broken by Gewirtz by over 2 feet as he finished the Kutztown Invitational with a first place height of 6-07.50. With that height he also provisionally quailfied for the NCAA Division III championship indoor meet.
