A 2004 inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame, two-time All-American and two-time Middle Atlantic Conference MVP, Bill Stromberg held impressive marks as wide receiver on the football field. He led the nation in receiving twice and established then national records for receptions (258), receiving yards (3,776), and touchdown receptions – all three marks remain school records 30 years after he graduated. When he finished his career Stromberg held national records for career receptions per game (7.2) and receiving yards per game (104.9).
