Robert Marshall, Delaware Valley University
Wrestling – 1974-2002
During 28 years of coaching at Delaware Valley, Robert Marshall obtained a 363-67 record (400-104-7 record including previous stint at Dickinson College) and never experienced a losting season with the Aggies. He was just one of three coaches at the time in NCAA Division III wrestling to reach the 400-win mark, winning 10 MAC Championships along the way. His teams also won two NCAA East Regional titles and was the NCAA Division III runner-tup in 1989 (a team that crowned three national champions). Seven NCAA Division III national champions, 42 All-Americans, 14 scholar All-Americans, and 83 MAC Champions have benefitted from Marshall's tutelage while he himself has become a member of seven different Hall of Fames, including the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1995. Marshall also served as the Coordinator of Physical Education and ran various intramural sports.
