Tom Pearsall is Albright's all-time leading scorer with 2,164 points and led the Lions in scoring for each of his four seasons with a career average of 20.2 ppg. AS a four-year All-MAC selection, he received numerous other regional and national awards: as a senior he was an Associated Press (AP) Little All-American (Honorable Mention), a United Press International (UPI) Little All-American second team, and ECAC All-East selection, and a first team All-State choice. As a sophomore, he was a third team Little All-American, a first team All-East and second team All-State selection, and a member of the Eastern Regional NCAA Tournament team. Pearsall was a member of Albright's 1960-61 MAC championship team, and played in the NCAA Tournament in 1961 and 1962. He still holds school records for career points, career ppg, career free throws made (620), career free throw attempts (781), single season free throw attempts (231), and single game free throws made (20).
