Carrie Miller Henkel was a two-time NCAA qualifier and a 2000 All-American in the 200 freestyle. She was also a two-time David B. Eavenson Award winner as the MAC’s top individual swimmer (2000, 2001). Miller led Albright to its first-ever MAC team championships in 2000 and 2001. In total, she won 12 MAC event championships, including six individual victories (2000: 50 free, 100 free, 200 free; 2001: 100 free, 200 free, 500 free) and six relay wins. Miller broke four conference, six team and five pool records while at Albright. In addition to swimming, she was a member of the field hockey and track & field teams. She won the school’s Outstanding Female Athlete Award in 2001 and was selected to the MAC All-Century Team. Miller continues to have success in the pool as a Masters swimmer and also competes in triathlons. She qualified and competed in the 2012 World Sprint Triathlon Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.
