Christina Vouriotis Hutchinson finished her four-year career with the Falcons in 2003 as the most decorated women’s basketball player in program history. In the year of her induction to the Messiah Hall of Fame, Hutchinson ranked first all-time in career points (1,702) and career rebounds (862), and sixth all-time in career assists (288) and career three-point percentage (38.7). As a player, “T” led Messiah to a 100-18 record over four years that included three Commonwealth Championships and four appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Her teams twice advanced to the Elite 8, finishing as the National Runner-Up in 2001. She was named both the Commonwealth Player of the Year and an NCAA All-American in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Hutchinson was also honored as an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Recipient.
