EAST STROUDSBURG (PA) – Three school records fell on Saturday afternoon as Delaware Valley College competed at the 5th Annual All-American Invitational hosted by Division II East Stroudsburg University. Team scoring was not held at the event.

On the women’s side, Tracey Forsythe placed first and broke the school mark in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the second week in a row as she crossed the finish in 12 minutes, 15.64 seconds. That was nearly 11 full seconds ahead of last week’s record of 12 minutes, 26.01 seconds.

Meanwhile, Caitlin Dorgan smashed the Aggie record in the 3,000-meter run and took second-place honors in the event with a time of 10 minutes, 43.68 seconds. That topped the previous mark of 11 minutes, 33.05 seconds set by Rachel Mayette back in 2000.

Michael Theiss broke his own school record in the men’s hammer throw as he finished fifth out of 16 competitors with a toss of 41.87 meters. He originally set a new standard three weeks ago at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University with a throw of 39.31 meters.

Meghan Donovan and Kathy LeHew had top four finishes in the high jump and 400-meter hurdles respectively. Donovan tied for second in her event ass she cleared the bar at 1.62 meters. LeHew placed fourth with a time of 1 minute, 10.05 seconds. The Delaware Valley 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams each finished fourth.

Frank Visconti had a pair of top eight finishes for the Aggie. He was second in the shot put with a throw of 14.08 meters and placed eighth in the discus with a toss of 34.77 meters. Chas Heberlig took fifth in the long jump with a leap of 5.87 meters.
