PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Lebanon Valley set a school record in the women's 4x400 and won their heat of the 4x100 on Thursday at the 116th Penn Relays at Franklin Field in front of 24,132 fans.

LVC ran 50.39 to win their 4x100 heat, then ran a school-record and ECAC-qualifying 4:05.99 to finish third in the Pop Haddleton Centennial/MAC 4x400.

In the 4x100 early in the day, the Dutchmen had a good start from lead-off Allix Sanders and stayed at the front with Katie Evison and Meggy McLean on the middle legs before anchor Johanna Walker brought the win home as she tipped Ursinus (50.40) to the line. The 50.39 time was a personal-best by the group by nearly a half-second.

A beautiful day was interrupted by a gusty thunderstorm that delayed the meet and left the track wet for the 4X400, but the Dutchmen stormed from the back to finish third in a school-record 4:05.99, topping the mark of 4:06.78. Megan Long, Alisha Farrell, McLean, and Walker ran the relay.
