Christine Marks made school history while leading the Misericordia University women's basketball team to a come-from-behind 56-49 win over DeSales, Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.

WILKES-BARRE — It wasn't a masterpiece but in the end it was a victory. The King's College women's basketball team broke open a 26-22 game at the half to outscore visiting Wilkes University 42-25 over the final 20 minutes of play as the Lady Monarchs remained the only unbeaten team in the Freedom Conference with a hard-fought 68-47 victory over their cross-town rival Wednesday night in Scandlon Gymnasium.

 

Eagles Bounce Devils

ST. DAVIDS, Pa.-- Entering this evening's Freedom Conference contest against a young and athletic FDU-Florham team, Eastern Women's Basketball Head Coach Nate Davis preached ball security to his team. The Eagles took great care of the ball early. They built a 19-4 lead before their second turnover and held on for an 84-68 win. Meghan Nowak finished with 24 points and a career-best 18 rebounds to pace the Eagles.

Crusaders Rally For Win Over Albright
Reading, Pa. (Jan. 18, 2012) - The Crusaders (7-7, 2-3 Comm.) outscored the Lions from Albright (4-12, 0-5 Comm.) 40-29 in the second half to post a 74-59 win this evening in Commonwealth Conference action at Alvernia. Alvernia escaped the first half with a slight 34-30 lead thanks to 11 first-half points from Angela Altemose (Pottsville, Pa./Nativity BVM). Altemose finished the game with a game-high and career high 30 points.
