ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending Dec. 15, 2019. A total of six student-athletes were recognized for performances from Dec. 9-15, 2019.
MEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Justin Thomas (Alvernia / So., F / Newark, Del.) averaged 27.5 points and nine rebounds in a 2-0 week for Alvernia. Thomas finished with 19 points and seven rebounds in a win over Immaculata. He then posted a career-high 36 points to go with 11 boards in a 69-64 win at Messiah in conference play on Saturday. The sophomore finished the week shooting 61-percent (17-for-28) from the field.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Andy Fleurantin (FDU-Florham / Sr., G / West Orange, N.J.) led the Devils to an 86-77 win over Hunter with 33 points on 9-for-13 shooting, including an impressive 7-for-10 from behind the arc. The senior also added five rebounds and a steal.

MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Dejah Terrell (Albright / So., F / Reading, Pa.) earns her third conference weekly award of the season. Terrell tallied 27 points and 26 rebounds in an 81-50 conference win over Hood on Saturday to tie the Albright program single-game rebound record and lead the Lions to their 10th consecutive win.
MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Olivia Coleman (Stevenson / Jr., F / Williamsport, Md.) recorded three blocks and 10 defensive rebounds in a two-point setback to Arcadia on Saturday. Coleman also contributed seven points.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Da’Naziah Brown (Eastern / Jr., G / Chester, Pa.) recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in Eastern 's 80-51 win at Penn State Abington. Brown hit two 3-pointers in the final 19 seconds of the first half to lift the Eagles to a 15 point halftime lead. She was 6-for-10 from the floor with three 3-pointers. She also added four steals and four assists in the win.

MAC Wrestler of the Week
David Stevens (Messiah / Jr., 184 lbs. / Media, Pa.) was the lone Falcon to pick up three wins over the weekend, going 3-0 on Saturday as the Falcons defeated McDaniel and dropped duals against Millersville (DII) and Lock Haven (DI). Stevens earned a tech fall against Gabe Dennis from McDaniel (19-1) and then picked up decisions against Millersville's Evan Morrill 6-1 and Lock Haven's Ray Bernot 8-6. His decision against Lock Haven accounted for Messiah's only points.
