ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced that it has developed a COVID-19 advisory group. The advisory group will provide recommendations to the MAC presidents and athletic directors based on local and national guidance.
The committee consists of 13 representatives from conference institutions, which will include:
- Dr. Paul S. Adams – Athletics Direct Report at Wilkes University
- Brian Bingaman – Associate Athletic Director for Performance, Health, and Wellness at Eastern University
- Mike Clark – Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach at Lycoming College
- Kevin Cooney – Equipment Manager and Athletic Fields Coordinator at Delaware Valley University
- A.J. Duffy, III – Head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist at Widener University
- Kevin Feil – Director of Facility Services at York College
- Bridgett Finn – President of MAC SAAC, Member of Division III SAAC and Women’s Soccer Student-Athlete at Lebanon Valley College
- Laura Gingrich – Associate Athletic Director, Senior Woman Administrator and Head Field Hockey Coach at Alvernia University
- Caitlin Hadzimichalis – Head Women’s Basketball Coach at King’s College
- Frank LoCastro – Assistant Vice President for the Division of Facilities and Campus Operations at Stevens Institute of Technology
- Jenn Noon – Director of Athletics at Fairleigh Dickinson University – Florham Campus
- Greg Royce – Associate Athletics Director for Athletics Communication at Stevenson University
- Samantha Wesner – Senior Vice President of Student and Campus Life and Chief Health Officer at Albright College
And the MAC staff, which includes:
- Erin Dwyer – Assistant Director
- Jonathan Hower – Director of Media Relations
- Megan Morrison – Executive Director (starting July 6)
- Marie Stroman – Associate Executive Director
While athletics will not look the same as in years past, the MAC presidents are committed to working toward providing a safe and competitive environment for every member of its campus communities.
“The MAC is committed to providing a healthy and safe atmosphere for all participants and at the same time offering our student-athlete a positive experience in these unique times,” said Ken Andrews, who concludes his 20 year career as MAC Executive Director on June 30.
“To that end, we have formed a group that represents all constituents to identify and establish conference-wide policies and best practices that ensure compliance with the above goals. We will keep the appropriate parties apprised of actions taken by the working group. As always, the MAC welcomes dialogue on these important matters”

The MAC currently sponsors 27 intercollegiate sports that compete in the NCAA Division III. More than 7,000 student-athletes participate in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's golf, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's indoor track & field, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track & field, softball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's volleyball and wrestling.
