2021-22 Schedule
ANNVILLE, Pa. (Men’s Basketball) – The DeSales Bulldogs were selected as the favorite in the 2021-22 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) men’s basketball coaches. The Bulldogs collected seven of nine first-place votes for 63 points.

Despite there being no NCAA Division III tournament in 2020-21, the conference competed in a shortened five-week regular season that culminated with a championship week that saw the top-two teams compete for the 2021 MAC Freedom title. All other teams played in crossover contests with the MAC Commonwealth. (
Note: King’s, Misericordia and Stevens did not compete in the shortened conference season)
Lycoming captured the 2021 title with a 69-53 win over DeSales to give the Warriors their second-straight conference title. Lycoming won the MAC Commonwealth title in 2020 before returning to the MAC Freedom in 2021.
The 2021-22 season is set to begin on Friday, Nov. 5. The double-round robin conference schedule will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
The 2022 MAC Freedom Men’s Basketball Championship is set for Feb. 21-26. The top-five seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
