ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has named York’s Alyssa Coon and Messiah’s Andrew Leeper as its MAC Swimmers of the Week for the week ending March 8, 2021.
 
MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Alyssa Coon (York / Sr. / Ashburn, Va.) led the Spartans to a second-place team finish to kick off the season at the MAC Virtual Relays. Coon powered the Spartans with 132 of their 200 points as she was a part of a winning relay, two second-place finishing relays and a pair of third-place relays. The senior’s win came in the 3x50-yard butterfly relay (1:24.61). Her two second-place finishes came in the 200-yard medley relay (1:58.24) and the 500-yard freestyle relay (5:11.74). Coon's third-place finishes came as a part of the 3x500 FTL relay (6:32.84). and the 200-yad freestyle relay (1:47.91).

MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Andrew Leeper (Messiah / Sr. / Chambersburg, Pa.) helped the Falcons to a second-place team finish at the MAC Virtual Relays. Leeper recorded 100 of Messiah’s 188 points. The senior helped the Falcons to four top-three relay finishes, including the 200-yard medley relay (2nd - 1:42.55), 3x50-yard butterfly relay (3rd - 1:16.00), 3x50-yard backstroke relay (2nd - 1:20.22), and 400-yard medley relay (3rd - 4:03.00).
