READING, Pa. (Women's Lacrosse) - Albright Co-Athletic Director and Women's Basketball Head Coach, Janice Luck, has been appointed to serve as a member of the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Committee.

Luck's term of service on the committee will begin September 01, 2021, and continue through August 31, 2025. She is currently serving a second term as a Division III Women's Basketball Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) member

"I am honored to be appointed to this committee," Luck said.  "I am humbled to join an outstanding group of professionals advancing the game for our student-athletes, in addition to representing our region, Albright College and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) for the future of women's lacrosse championships."

The NCAA governance structure consists of legislative bodies – made up of volunteers from member schools – that govern each division, as well as a group of committees that set association-wide policy. These committees manage topics affecting sports rules, championships, health and safety and matters impacting women in athletics and opportunities for minorities. The committee is broken down into seven different regions with one region each having a representative. Luck will represent the Mid-Atlantic Region, and will join six other regional representatives on the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Committee, consisting of five women's lacrosse head coaches and one conference commissioner.

In addition to her co-Athletic Director duties, Luck has spent 19 seasons as the Albright women's basketball head coach. Luck has led the Lions to five NCAA Tournament appearances and one MAC Commonwealth Championship at the helm of the team. She has been named MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year five times, and was named Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) District 4 Coach of the Year in 2015-16.
