2022 MAC Commonwealth Women’s Volleyball Championship Field Announced

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Women’s Volleyball) – The 2022 Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) Women’s Volleyball Championship is set to begin on Monday, Oct. 31 and crown the champion on Saturday, Nov. 5. The MAC Commonwealth Champion will earn the conference’s NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
This year’s tournament field is as follows: 1. Eastern, 2. Stevenson, 3. Widener, 4. Messiah, 5. Lebanon Valley
 
The tournament will begin on Monday, Oct. 31 with the No. 4 seed hosting the No. 5 seed in the play-in game. The semifinal round will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 2 (No. 4/5 winner at No. 1 Seed; No. 3 seed at No. 2 seed). The 2022 championship game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the highest remaining seed. All game times will be set by the home team and are subject to change.

In its first year in the MAC Commonwealth, Eastern defeated Stevenson 3-2 for the 2021 conference title. Stevenson, since joining the conference in 2012, had won eight-straight conference titles from 2012-19. Eastern won 11-straight MAC Freedom titles from 2008-18 before moving to the MAC Commonwealth. Lebanon Valley won four-straight titles from 2008-11 before Stevenson joined.
