ANNVILLE, Pa. (Men's Soccer) – The Stevens Ducks were selected as the favorite in the 2022 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) men's soccer coaches. The Ducks collected seven first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 63 points.

In 2021, the Ducks captured their first MAC Freedom title 4-2 in penalty kicks after a 0-0 draw against Misericordia. Stevens' Fritz Kabeiseman was named the MAC Freedom Most Valuable Player (MVP)
Stevens' 2021 season came to an end in the second round of the NCAA tournament against Tufts University with an 11-10 loss in penalty kicks after the match went final with a 0-0 draw.
The Ducks combined for four United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region IV Selections, including defender Fritz Kabeiseman and midfielder Bruno Andino.
The United Soccer Coaches organization announced its 2022 preseason poll on August 2 ranking Stevens at No. 25.
The 2022 season is set to begin on Thursday, September 1. Conference play will begin on Saturday, October 1 with an eight-game five-week schedule.
The 2022 MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Championship is set for October 31 to November 5. The top-five seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
