(Women's Volleyball) – The Eastern Eagles were selected as the favorite in the 2022 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) women's volleyball coaches. The Eagles collected first-place votes from all eight opposing coaches for a total of 64 points.

In 2021, the Eagles captured their first MAC Commonwealth title after defeating Stevenson 3-2. Middle hitter Jaliene Lugo was named the MAC Commonwealth Championship Most Valuable Player (MVP).

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released the 2022 preseason coaches poll on August 19 with Stevenson receiving votes.
The 2022 season is set to begin on Thursday, September 1. Conference play will begin on Wednesday, September 7 with an eight-week eight-game schedule.
The 2022 MAC Commonwealth Women's Volleyball Championship is set for October 31 to November 5. The top-five seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
