Lebanon Valley named favorite in MAC Commonwealth Women’s Tennis Coaches’ Preseason Poll

The Flying Dutchmen collected five first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 46 points

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Women’s Tennis) – The Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen were selected as the favorite in the 2023 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth women’s tennis coaches. The Flying Dutchmen collected five first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 46 points. York (Pa.) followed at No. 2 with two first-place votes, while Stevenson earned one first-place vote in the No. 6 spot.

In 2022, Lebanon Valley defeated York to win its third conference title. The Flying Dutchmen finished 7-0 in conference play to earn the top seed in the tournament.
 
LVC advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship where they fell in the opening round to SUNY Oneonta. The Flying Dutchmen finished with a 15-5 overall record.
 
The 2023 season is set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Conference play will begin on Saturday, April 1, with a seven-game schedule.
 
The 2023 MAC Commonwealth Women’s Tennis Championship is set for April 26-29th. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
