ANNVILLE, Pa. (Baseball) – The 2023 Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) Baseball Championship is set to begin on Thursday, May 4 and run through the weekend of May 12-13. The MAC Commonwealth Champion will earn the conference’s NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
This year’s tournament field is as follows: 1. Lebanon Valley, 2. Alvernia, 3. Widener, 4. Messiah, 5. York.
 
The 2023 MAC Commonwealth Championship will begin on Thursday, May 4 with the single nine-inning No. 4 vs. No. 5 play-in game. The semifinal round will take place May 6-7 and this year’s championship will conclude with the final round on May 12-13. The semifinal and final rounds will be a three-game series with the higher-seeded team hosting all three games. Game one will be on the first day with a possible doubleheader on the second day if game three becomes necessary. All three games of each series will be nine innings.

In 2022, Lebanon Valley won the MAC Commonwealth title over York with a 2-1 series victory with scores of 2-1, 0-6, 12-1. The field combines for 14 MAC Commonwealth titles.
