NEWTOWN, Pa. (Men's Soccer) – The Stevens Ducks were selected as the favorite in the 2023 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) men's soccer coaches. The Ducks collected seven first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 49 points.

In 2022, the Ducks captured their second MAC Freedom title 4-2 in penalty kicks after a 0-0 draw against Lycoming. Stevens' goalie Justin Cross was named the MAC Freedom Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Stevens' 2022 season came to an end in the semi-finals of the NCAA tournament against No. 2 University of Chicago with a 0-1 overtime loss.
The United Soccer Coaches organization announced its 2023 preseason poll on August 1 ranking Stevens at No. 3.
The 2023 season is set to begin on Saturday, September 1. Conference play will begin on Saturday, September 30 with a seven-game five-week schedule.
The 2023 MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Championship is set for November 1 to November 4. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
