NEWTOWN, Pa. (Women’s Tennis) – The Stevens Ducks were selected as the favorite in the 2024 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom women’s tennis coaches. The Ducks collected four first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 34 points. Lebanon Valley collected two first-place votes, while Misericordia collected one.

In 2023, the Ducks defeated second-seededd Misericordia to claim its second straight MAC Freedom Championship Title. Stevens advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after a 5-0 defeat over Husson University. The Ducks season ended in the second round against No. 15 Johns Hopkins.
This is the first season Lebanon Valley College will compete in the MAC Freedom. Last year, the Flying Dutchmen were crowned the 2023 MAC Commonwealth Women's Tennis Champions.
The 2024 season is set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Conference play will start on Saturday, April 6 with a six game schedule.
The 2024 MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Championship is set for April 30 and May 4. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
