1,696 Student-Athletes Named to MAC Fall Sports Academic Honor Roll

2023 MAC Fall Sports Academic Honor Roll

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) –
 The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Executive Director Megan Morrison announced the 2023 MAC Fall Sports Academic Honor Roll on Friday. A total of 1,696 student-athletes who competed in men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball were recognized.
 
A total of 271 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) during the fall semester.
 
The fall academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a fall term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. Since 2020-21, the MAC has allowed its institutions to name all of their NCAA-competing sports to the MAC Academic Honor Roll even if the MAC does not sponsor the sport. To date, the additional sports recognized are beach volleyball (spring), men’s and women’s fencing (winter) and women’s wrestling (winter).

Men’s Cross Country (16 institutions): 142 (29 - 4.0s)
Women’s Cross Country (16 institutions): 134 (35 - 4.0s)
Field Hockey (16 institutions): 258 (48 - 4.0s)
Football (10 institutions): 339 (25 - 4.0s)
Men’s Soccer (16 institutions): 303 (42 - 4.0s)
Women’s Soccer (16 institutions): 330 (57 - 4.0s)
Women’s Volleyball (16 institutions): 120 (34 - 4.0s)
